The large full size kiln dried birch crate is a great size option for regular users and the most economical. Each crate contains a mix of widths 25cm long. The full size crate comes in a sturdy wooden frame, neatly pre-stacked with dried birch logs, wrapped in clear pallet wrap and lidded for transport, so just grab the logs you need and light your fire. Birch burns really well and nice and hot and is a great option for smaller stoves because it burns very quickly, produces heat almost instantly and has a high calorific value. Birch produces very good heat output, bright lively flames and a very nice aroma and because it burns very quickly it produces heat quicker. In terms of BTU produced, kiln dried birch is very similar to ash and only just behind kiln dried oak. Our kiln dried logs will fit most wood stoves and the box contains a mix of log widths all up to a maximum length of 25cm and packed 4 rows deep
